Next up on the 2010 Lexus trip is an Edmunds video that not only serves as a nice introduction, but also displays the RX’s new Remote Touch controller (or at least how it moves):

As you can see, the controller functions much like a computer mouse — making it instantly intuitive and familiar. I can’t wait to try it in person. As for the reasoning behind the switch from touchscreen to controller, this is most likely a reaction to the common complaint that the touchscreen won’t accept input when the vehicle is in motion.
