Fox Marketing Lexus IS-F in Dallas this weekend

The orange modded Lexus IS-F by Fox Marketing/Artisan Performance will be making an appearance at the Hot Import Night in Dallas this Saturday. Here's a brand new photo of the car along with some other details:

[Brian Fox will] have the car at the Dallas HIN on Saturday, and from there he plans to take it to his buddy Kenny Strickler, who will install a Turbonetics GTK350 twin turbo setup. After that the next stop is the Lexus booth at SEMA!

I think Lexus has done a wonderful job with the entire Lexus line-up (besides their awful photographers for the IS-F's first batch of pictures).

The IS 250 and 350 look great. The IS-F is pretty exclusive with its limited production and excites you when you see one (I saw a black one in my city a few weeks back.)

The IS convertible has its ups too.
- fast folding roof
- big trunk
- not a complete copy of the sedan - inside and out
- has a modified chassis that has "potential" (compared to the IS-F)
- great car for a girl (perfect intention with perfect customers)

Now, with tuners that Lexus seems to have a strict "policy" with, the entire IS line-up can't possibly go wrong (let's put the weak economy aside).

You go out and ask a "racing guy" about Lexus, and he'd immediately think about the IS. You ask a girl, and she'd say, "OH, you mean that sexy IS?" Compare that with a decade ago when girls barely recognized the Lexus brand as a whole.

With its timeless looks (especially its exterior), the IS, which started out simply as an entry-level car slotted below the ES, will forever deserve its place in Lexus' history.
Speaking of history, which is barely 20 years in the market for Lexus,...my-oh-my has Lexus come a long way. ;)

This car is sick. I found out about an event taking place this month featuring fast and exotic cars like this one. It is a one-day road race from LA to Santa Barbara, so for anyone in the area, you might get lucky and spot one of the cars! http://www.targatrophy.com/
