Lexus LS 460 AWD Introduced at Moscow Auto Show
When it comes to the release of the Lexus LS 460 AWD version, this picture says it all:

As expected, the LS 460 AWD was introduced at the Moscow International Auto Show today, and the folks at Autoblog have a full photo gallery of the model. The only thing? That AWD badge in the photo above is the only discernible difference from regular version.
That said, here are the more technical particulars:
The LS 460’s outstanding performance, sure-footed dynamic abilities and advanced active safety systems have been further strengthened by the addition of permanent all-wheel drive. The all-wheel drive system is a three differential configuration featuring a highly compact TORSEN® Limited Slip Differential (LSD) – shared with the LS 600h - which distributes drive torque between the front and rear axles with a 40:60 rear axle bias in torque distribution.
The LS 460 AWD will be on sale as from November.

Looks like the Merc G-class is no longer the only vehicle in the US with 3 different differential configurations ;)
Why do LS in some countries have that extra air intake below the license plate?
...and the turn signal on the front fenders?! Those are BEAUTIFUL!
They add a little style to the side profile, while turn signals on the mirrors are a bit...busy...heavy looking...elegant, but not beautiful.
sorry...1 more question x]
Do they have that AWD badge on the IS 250 and GS 350 AWD?
There should be AWD from the IS 350 and GS 460 as well...and what about the LS 460 L...why don't they display it in the long wheelbase...probably the price was too high to display.
And lastly, I promise, were the LED headlights on the hybrid LS not approved in China? ...and why don't we have some European options?!?!?!
Lexus makes me really irritated sometimes!
Yes there is the AWD badge on the IS and GS AWD variants. Because on both of those models, the model name is at the lower right, the AWD badge is next to it--e.g. AWD IS 250, AWD GS 350. (the AWD is smaller letters).
That's what I recall.
You're absolutely right, Dan, here's an example:
(Finding that image was way harder than it should have been.)
