Hyundai’s Veracruz vs. RX 350 Commercial
Hyundai has taken Motor Trend's rather irksome comparison of the new Veracruz and the Lexus RX350 and ran with it, producing this cute but flawed commercial:
Now, Hyundai can't be faulted for wanting to draw attention to the Motor Trend results, but is it really a smart idea to celebrate the copycat styling of the Veracruz?

All companies copy eachother. Microsoft from apple, lexus from BMW, illyushin from Boeing, and some more. Hyundai is doing something that has become common place in our world of trade. Hyundai is doing “Business”. Although it is true that Hyundai is trying to grab some success from lexus, you have to give them some credit. They are doing something that companies have been doing for hundreds of years. Not only that, but they are improving on their product. You may call hyundai a copycat, but personally, i like equivalent quality and features for $10000 less than the competition.
I think my main point of contention with this ad was how blatant it was. It’s one thing to copy styling cues, but another thing entirely to bring such attention to it.
